Susan Curry Brasselle

Susan Curry Brasselle has been practicing with Pauley Curry, PLLC and its predecessor firm, Pauley, Curry, Sturgeon and Vanderford, PLLC, for over 29 years. She graduated from the University of Kentucky with High Distinction in 1989 with a B.B.A. degree and, like her father, Arden J. Curry, and her brother, John Curry, she received her law degree from the West Virginia University College of Law in 1992. While she was in law school, she was a member of the Lugar Trial Association and was Associate Chief Justice for the Moot Court Board. Susan is a Life Member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. She was selected as American Trial Lawyers Association Top 100 Trial Lawyers. She is also a member of Elite Lawyers of America.

Susan is licensed and actively practices in West Virginia and eastern Kentucky, and has appeared in front of the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals. She is also admitted to practice in the Northern and Southern District Courts.

During her career, Susan’s practice has centered around a wide variety of medical malpractice areas including failure to diagnose, radiology, oncology, extravasation injuries, medication errors, and surgeries including spinal surgery, orthopedic surgery, and eye surgery. She is a member of the Kanawha County Bar Association (past President), as well as the West Virginia and American Bar Associations. She is also a member of the West Virginia Association for Justice and has received the National Institute of Trial Advocacy certificate. Susan is married with two children and lives in Charleston.
